How Oregon Will Turn $200 Million Into Housing
Today on City Cast Portland, we’re talking with someone who is working to fix Oregon’s massive housing shortfall. Andrea Bell is the executive director of Oregon Housing and Community Services, the state agency in charge of funding affordable housing projects for Oregon. She’s going to tell us how the Legislature’s $200 million housing package actually turns into homes, and if we’re actually on track to meeting Governor Kotek’s ambitious goal of building 36,000 housing units per year.
